Florence Dance Guild presents a West African Dance workshop with
Gabrielle Eggstein and live drumming by Mamadou Lamine Thioub.
Participants will learn the basics, and characteristic movements used
in African dancing. African dancing is joyful,
empowering and uplifting. Ms. Eggstein has
studied jazz, modern dance, classical In-
dian dance and West African dance in
Europe and Africa for many years under
master African teachers from Burkina Faso,
Senegal and Liberia. All experience levels
are welcome.
